HOMETOWN Port Elizabeth, South Africa

OCCUPATION Professional Triathlete

RACING SINCE 2009

Kyle first discovered triathlon at age 24, while living in London and working as a full time Electrician. He first competed in the full distance Ironman at 25 years old in 2009. Every race after that, he chopped off considerable amounts of time, ultimately winning the age-grouper overall race in an Ironman. In fact, Kyle still holds the Ironman World Championships age-grouper course record, which he set in 2013 while finishing 16th overall. Kyle then began racing professionally and won Ironman Lake Placid in 2014, his first year as a pro. He has continued to demonstrate his racing prowess with another win in 2016 and additional podium spots. A perennial Kona Qualifier, Kyle continues to improve and races with the goal of finding a podium spot at the Ironman World Championships.

Kyle compliments the comfort and handling of the Dimond. “…This honestly feels the best, the stiffness of it is amazing. Kind of reminds me of what a sport car feels like when its going at speed.”
