BUILD

SRAM

SRAM is an American company that broke into the component scene in 1988 with the release of the "Grip Shift". The goal of the Grip Shift was to provide a more convenient way of shifting when compared to the "Suicide Shifters" that were popular at the time. After this announcement SRAM was quick to release their own mountain bike derailleur that worked with the Grip Shift and quickly became the component giant it is today! SRAM's wireless shifting features removable batteries mounted on the component and SRAM has made its own wireless AXS app to help make adjusting the shifting easier!

SHIMANO

Shimano is a Japanese based component manufacturer who started making bicycle freewheels in 1922. Shimano is constantly at the cutting edge of shifting performance and producing "State of the art" components. Shimano's wireless shifting features a battery that has been mounted in the frame, and wires that run through the frame to power the components. This results in a more complicated setup, but rewards the hard work with very crisp and reliable shifting performance.
